We rent rooftop tents (RTT) on our custom-built Adventure Trailer. Our tents sleep 2-4 adults. These units are great for campgrounds, but you can call anyplace home for the night with the simple setup and breakdown.

Hello! My name is Summer Brown, and I’m the creator of Rooftop Adventure Company, based in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Ever wonder what it would be like to be an Adventure Motivator? I did, and now I’m hooked!
While my college degree is in Communications, my passion really lies in connecting with people through adventure. My roots had me in a camper as a kid growing up close to the White Mountains, and I believe those experiences truly fostered my love for the great outdoors. In my life, I’ve always found peace in nature. May it be running, hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, or camping, nature is the medicine for any of my ailments, and I know it is that way for others, too. That’s why I launched Rooftop Adventure Company (RAC).
I’ve had the opportunity to travel much of the United States in a 24’ RV, and the beauty of this country overwhelms me. While using an RV has been a good fit for my family at times, it also comes with restrictions such as cost and parking. I started researching other options and discovered this amazing opportunity to have a tent on your car that would keep you dry, safe from wildlife, and comfortable (away from rocks and roots). I noticed there was only one place in our region where you could shop, in person, for a rooftop tent (RTT), and only one brand was available. There was no place nearby to rent one (or two or three) to see if I actually enjoyed it. So, even though it was a large purchase, I risked it and bought a personal tent, which I loved, and that led to the launch of RAC in March 2021.
I have an enormous sense of adventure. I thrive when my body is in motion. I am also a “creator.” I love to build. I enjoy talking to people about what “adventure” looks like to them and then heading back to my garage to help them realize their vision. That’s exactly how I built RAC - fueled by the passion for adventure and the outdoors that burns in my heart and guided by the desires of family, friends, and clients to travel and discover new things about the world and ourselves.
